Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that we have a new policy concerning research. I hate to do this, but it has become necessary. So many people have us do research, then do not pay after I list for them what we have on their ancestor, or that we do not have anything. Starting today, January 3, 2000, the archives will charge a $5 up front fee for any research we think will take over 15 to 20 minutes. Even if we do not find anything, we still spend time, and according to county policy have to charge for this. We think $5 is a small price to pay for spending an hour checking all our indexes, since we have so much information in many different records. Thanks for everyones support over the years.
