Hi everyone, This is the last call for queries for the Summer issue of the Lawrence County Genealogical Society's journal. Our editor wants to finish the layout early, so everything is in place except for queries. Queries are free to society members and $2 for non-members. We prefer you email the queries, which save typing time. If you are not a member and want to place a query, you can still email the query and send the money by snail mail. If you prefer to mail them, the address is Lawrence County Genealogical Society, 218 N. Military Ave., Suite B-1, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. We prefer they be no longer than 100 words; two may be submitted by each person. They will appear in our journal on a first come basis; but if there are too many queries for this issue, they will be included in the Fall issue. If you are not a member of our society and would like to become a member, you can contact the society at lcarchives@lorettotel.net. Dues are only $10 for one year and include 4 issues of our journal packed full of family histories, wills, tax lists, etc., pictures, queries, book reviews, and much more.
