Just wanted to remind everyone about the Lawrence County Genealogical Society meeting tomorrow at 1:30 at the Lawrence County Public Library. The meeting has been moved to the first Sat. in Dec. in order not to conflict with Christmas preparations. The time has also been changed from 2:30 to 1:30 because of a meeting scheduled after our meeting. Following a short business meeting, a program on terms used in many of the old documents researchers use will be presented by Kenn Pearson. Afterwards refreshments will be served while Christmas music is played. The December journals have arrived and will be distributed to the members who attend the meeting tomorrow. Hi Eveyone, According to the LDS site, Tennessee Mary Anthony was born in Lawrence in 1836. She married William Cummings Davis and had 2 sons. Thanks to others, I have her divorce papers from William in 1865. BUT I cannot for the life of me, find out where she is buried or exactly when (1866) or why she died. On page 123 in the book, Marriages of Lawrence County, Tennessee 1818-1929, by Donna Ramsey and Kathy Niedergeses, there are two marriages that I would like to ask the mailing list about. Joseph King to Mollie Mitchell on May 23, 1882 Joseph G. King to Hester L. Howard on August 30, 1860 Does anyone out there know about either of these two Joseph Kings? I have a Joseph King in my King family that I don't know anything about. I thought it could be one of these Joseph's. Judy

Is there anything know about Georgina or Georgia Green and William (Bill) Bradley from Lawrenceburg. Georgina died in 1935, William died in 1929, they are both buried in the Sam Smith Cemetery from my understanding. Some of their children were: Robert Bradley, Viola (Durham) Bradley, Doug Bradley and Buford Bradley. These were my great grandparents but cannot find anything more about them. Any and all info would be welcomed. They lived on Greenbriar Rd which runs into Longbranch Road. We are related to the Green's and Marcus's on Longbranch. Viola was my grandmother.
