Howdy, I've just subscribed in an effort to find out where Crestview, TN is. I've been told by a relative that it is in Lawrence County, but I don't find any sign of it on maps. I am a descendant of the LEE family of Giles County and my grandmother used to mention that when she was little, they moved back to TN (from TX) and lived at Crestview. Hi, I have hit a wall with William James Davis and Julia Jane Williams. He was born 1856, she was born 1858. Julia Jane married Richard Martin in 1877. Richard died and she married William Davis, but WHEN?? I have never been able to locate any record of marriage for them. They had seven children, among them my grandfather. I would like to have the day in 1934 that Meade Summerfield Harwell died as well as that of his wife, Clemmie(Killan), in 1951. They are buried in Mimosa Cemetery.
