Donaldson, and Emmett Lewis. Just thought you might be interested if you don't already have them. They contain a little information about your great grandfather. Rhonda.

If you or your cousins are male and carry the Minor/Miner last name--or should but don't due to past parental divorce or an adoption, I hope that you will participate in one of these studies. We personally believe this will be the only way we can figure out where our Minor/Miner ancestors came from, and how the various Minor/Miner family groups are interrelated. More information about the studies can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/minordnaproject/index.htm Please contact me Jim Carpenter by clicking on the email icon on each home page if you have questions about these studies.

Genealogy site there are some Curry Funeral Homes records posted. If you don't find your John Bennett Jones there, it might be worthwhile to post a query on their site asking for a Curry look-up? As I understand it (I may be wrong on this!), the old Curry Funeral Home records are not indexed, making searching through them without a good date of death a real search. This is a link to the Dyer Co. site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~tndyer/ Good luck from another Jones at a different brick wall!

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GgB.2ACE/626.1 Message Board Post: I must assume that Will and Grace are the father/mother of Fred Talley, your grandfather. Is that right? My ggggrandfather James A. Talley (killed at Ft. Pillow, TN 1864) had six children, four of whom were boys; he lived in Obion County, after coming there in 1860 from Maury Co. My ancestor (John Bell Talley), his son, moved to Texas from Lake Co. in in 1880's and I know his descendancy. Another son Robert Wilson Talley had only daughters. There is no information about third son James Jones Talley and fourth son William Henry Talley. Your grandfather's father could be William Henry Talley. If you have further information that might connect the relatives I'd like to know.
