Joseph Cameron White, a g-g-g-g-grandson of Gen. James M. White, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2002 in New Orleans, LA. Uncle Joe, the half brother of my maternal grandmother, was 79 years old. A very proud man who thrived on being a descendent of the founder of Knoxville, is survived by his wife, Rose, and two sons.
