    3. Hi Stan, I have checked all of my resources and dont show him as being held here. I ran all names from Wisconsin on record,,,and there are only 2 beginning with SA on record,,,neither could be him. There were reported to have been about 300 escapes from Andersonville,,,all but about 2 dozen were recaptured. Keep in mind that of the 45000 held here, only 32000 records survived the war. If you find any documents showing he was here, please let me know as I have the where and who to send copies amd get him on record.
