Hi SB, Renfro is (at the moment), my main brick wall. I have been looking for the parents of Nancy (Nannie) Caroline Renfro who married (in KNOX Co.) in 1891 to John H. LYLE(S). I know there are lots of Renfro's in the KNOX area, but I can't seem to find Nancy. I found a J.J. Renfro with a daughter Nancy about the right age in Cumberland Co., Tennessee, USA, on the 1880 census. That's the closest I have come so far. If you or anyone else recognizes this Renfro family, I;d love to hear from you. Have you done much research in this part of your family history? Did you know Brad Renfro, the actor (from Knoxville), is a descendant of this line?
