I'm sending this to the county groups in hopes that someone new who just started may have the answers for all of us. Below is what I have on these families, listed by family name. I have most of the children and spouses of the above, and all of the direct descendant of Peter and Margaret. What I need with this family is the date of Margarets death (after 1874) , place of burial and her mother (Margaret JONES) parents. Be glad to share anything about the above with anyone. ADKINS 1. I need Lewis parents names and places of birth. I have always speculated that he was a son of Elijah and Nancy HUNTER, or the orphaned nephew of somebody. I also need the parents of Fereby (Phoebe). William George B. 1836 Mar to Adeline ADKINS 1867, D. Oct 1907. The stumbling block here is who is the mother of the first four children who were born before Robert married Rosannah in 1786. They were George B. 1782, Elizabeth B. 1784 (my husband's line. She married Lewis ADKINS, see above) , Nancy B. 1785 and maybe John B 1786. Were they born before they married, were they orphaned nieces and nephews from a sibling and Robert and Rosannah adopted them, were they either his or hers from a prior marriage. Janie is often mentioned as Robert's wife. Was she Rosannah, or was she a sister or cousin or ? to Rosannah, or are the names interchangable. I have most of these children and their spouses, but no children. My biggest problem is that my husband descends from both Lewis ADKINS and Elizabeth MONROE and Mark MONROE and Nancy DAVIS. As I said, I have more specific dates for some of the above, some of which I got from some of you, some from the usual sources. Almost all is proven, EXCEPT the MONROE familyback from Robert. That remain a supposition, so please don't cite me as a source on that.
