Does anyone have any information on a Quaker settlement in Knox county during the early 1800's? I seem to run onto snippets which indicate that the area around Hardin Valley and Hickory Creek was populated by Quakers. My ancestor George Thomas Holmes was born there, and his parents migrated to Knox county from North Carolina. Any information would be appreciated. Archie Holmes
