    3. I have been trying to find information on my gggrandfather Reverend Stephen H. Hill who was a Reverend in the Knoxville TN area and was involved with different churches including : Chapel Hill Shieldstown 3rd Baptist Church His death was announced in the Knoxville Journal May 19,1897: "Rev. Stephen Hill Dead Well known Baptist Minister Passes Away. One of Knoxville's most respected citizens, Rev. Stephen Hill, died at his home on North central avenue yesterday morning. He is one of the best known Baptist ministers in this section and the news of his death will be quite a shock to his many friends in this city and the surrounding county. he was sick for only a short time with typhoid fever and even his family did not hink him dangerously ill until the day before he died. Mr Hill leaves a wife and five childrenh. The funeral will be conducted from the residence this morning and the remains will be interred in Hubb's burying ground a few miles east of the city. Deceased entered the ministry when he was forty years of age and for the last twenty-five years of his life he has preached at different places around the country. he is well known throughout this city. He spent several years of his life preaching to the poorer classes on the streets and in houses where the poor could hear him. his was a very useful life and he will be remembered by unfortunates of this city." Would I be able to find an obituary in a church record or minutes that might shed some information on his parentage and relevant information or any suggestions how to search. sincerely .
