I am trying to get documentation for parents for my gg grandparents, William Harrison and Elizabeth (BARGER) CRAWFORD. I am of the opinion that William's father was Francis CRAWFORD, and Elizabeth's is Frederick BARGER. William was born abt 1810 in N.C. and Elizabeth born abt 1815 in Virginia. They had sons named Frederick and Francis. They moved to Douglas County, MO abt 1860, where they lived the rest of their lives. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Wadene Bennett

Hi Pam, No --My ancestor was Peggy Crawford -George,1774-1826.Her father was Moses Crawford & they were from NC originally. She had a sister named Rebecca Crawford--I dont know her married name.I believe Moses had a brother named Samuel Crawford. If you could get back to about 1800 we might have a connection in Knoxville as I`m sure most of those Crawfords were related in some way. Sorry I have not been of much help. Most Cordially, Greg George
I also have a GEORGE. Edith GEORGE, daughter of Travis GEORGE, Sr., born May 19, 1806 in Knox County, TN married Littelberry JOHNSON (seems like both your lines connect to Johnson's), April 04, 1824 in Loudon County, TN. According to the data I have, they had 11 children. If you want names, let me know. Nina

The furthest back is Lennie Melvina Crawford, born January 29, 1878 and died May 31, 1918. She married George Washington Johnson, June 29, 1900 in Knox County. According to my info, they had 7 children: Luther Sylvester Johnson, Ernest Eugene Johnson, Della Mae Johnson, Hubert Oscar Johnson, Buford Charles Johnson, Ida Pearl Johnson, and Mabel Lorene Johnson. Does any of this ring a bell? Thanks so much. Nina
