William Woods b. about 1803 (per census) unknown parents or siblings was b. in TN, he was in Greene County on the 1860 census, but believe he moved to Jefferson when his son did. His son, Andrew Jackson Woods, married in 1859 in Greene to a Mary Moore, moved to Jefferson after the 1860 census. My Woods line goes from William to Andrew (AJ) to Ida Jane Woods (who married William Anderson Frank. My EDWARDS line came to Jefferson after the civil war in 1866, the only other county they lived while in TN that I know of was a short time in Union County. My Edwards line goes from William Riley Edwards to George W. Edwards to George Fleetus Edwards (married the Moree's) to Raymond Esthler Edwards to my father. They were from Buncombe Co NC. -- Bridgett
