Is there anyone researching the Britton, Mitchell, and McFaul families in Jefferson and surrounding counties of TN? My great grandfather Robert Henry McFaul married a May or Mary Mitchell in in Dandridge in 1861, just before going off to war. She was the daughter of a Mitchell that married a Britton in Dandridge in about 1838. Robert owned property near the church on the hill in the east part of town. He was also a Boot making by profession. Before moving to Dandridge he was living in Hawkins Co TN in the 1850 census. He was born in VA abt 1830. Any help would be great appreciated. Joe McDonald
