    1. [TNJefferson] Boultons (and various spellings)
    2. Virginia S. Brizendine
    3. Benjamin and Elocky Snead left Jefferson County TN about 1853 for Gentry County MO (northwest corner of MO near the Iowa border). Family tradition says that a Boulton (Bolten, Bolden, etc.) family came with them. At least we know that Bathiah Boulton married Benjamin "Frank" Snead about 1857 in Missouri and that her sister, Nancy, had married Benjamin Frank's brother, Josiah (Joe) Snead in Tennessee about 1848. The only other clue on the Boulton/Bolden family can be found in the 1870 Gentry County Census, Howard Township #74-77 where Sarah Boulton, age 80, born SC, was enumerated with Benjamin Frank and Bathiah. Bathiah was 36 at the time, so this could have been her mother. This family has been a total dead end for me. Would also love to hear from other researchers.
