Have traced my line to Obidiah Ward who married Nancy Woods in 1830. They went to Providence Church in Jefferson County where my gg grandfather met his bride to be, Elizabeth Romines from Sevier County. Where the church stood is now under Douglas Lake. The children of Obidiah and Nancy were: Mary, Elizabeth John, Isaac, Enoch, James and Minny. I think that Obidiah's father was John Ward b. in Maryland. He lived just a few houses from Obidiah in the 1850 census.
