I would appreciate any information you can give me about her parentage and background. My gggrandfather James A. Ward came from Jefferson County, Tennessee, and a John Moyers gave an affidavit for him when he applied for a Civil War pension. I think this was John Eli Moyers, son of the John C. Moyers who married Phoebe Ward. It seems likely that Phoebe was somehow connected to my ancestors' family, and I would like to figure out the relationship. I will be most grateful for your help.
