I do have distant relatives who settled near Chicago. I have some information about my direct line (my father immigrated to the US in 1967), but I have also been researching another line of Maniez's who came over in the late 1800s. There were two brothers named Reynaud and Rig... (I can't remember - I am at work and my information is at home) and it seems that they came over here and met up with their parents, who had immigrated before them.
