I am looking for the family of William Armstrong Webb (1/8/1869-11/25/1941). His death certificate lists he was born in Dandridge, TN and his parents were Emily Webb of TN and George T. Webb of TN. Emily's death cirtificate (10/15/1845-10/24/1919) states that she was divorced (which I think would have been fairly unusual back then), so no spouse is listed. Neither is a mother, but her father is listed as William L. Webb and she died in Knoxville. (Based on this apparently Emily's father and husband were both Webbs, but I don't know the specifics of this). I haven't found anything on a George T. Webb. I don't know if there is a connection, but I found a Settlement of Estate for a William Webb of Dandridge, TN. He left several orphaned children. He died 12/14/1829, so this could not be Emily's father, but it lists that one of his orphaned children was William. If so, he would be about the right age to be Emily's father. Long shot, but can anyone confirm or deny or does anyone have any other information? Thanks.
