Hi Patrick, I have been gone and so I am beginning to go through my huge backlog of email and would be most interested in seeing if there are any marriage listings for the name "McCulley", or any similar variations such as McCullough, McCulloch, McCullock, McCulla, McCuller, McCullum, etc. My third great grandfather was born 1790 in Jefferson county, TN - 'William McCulley' - we have no exact location or names of parents or other relatives. The only possible connection that we do know could be through the 'Tobias Wilhelm' family that were in Jefferson county and later are found in Jackson county, AL, with the McCulleys. Tobias' daughter, 'Aisley' marries William in 1810 in AL and they have a large family together. William died in July of 1840 and Aisley is alive for the 1850 census, but is not listed in the 1860 census. Family given names that are later used are: James, William, Richard, George, Franklin and Charles, Henry and John. But I would be happy to collect any information or leads on these elusive MCCULLEY's, as well as marriage information. Any marriage information on the WILHELMS would also be appreciated.
