He lists children Thomas, Humphrey, WILLIAM T., Mary Pollard, Lavina Cate, Elizabeth Snyder, Martha Bales, Sarah George, Ellen Ruth, Anna Cates, Rebecca Petty, and grandson Johnson Hickman.( Sevier Co., TN Will, etc. , microfilm #27, starting on p. 141 at the TN State Library and Archives) William T. and his wife Julia Petty Hickman are buried in the Caldwell Cemetery in Jefferson Co., as are William and Susannah Hickman. My Woods line goes from William to Andrew (AJ) to Ida Jane Woods (who married William Anderson Frank. My EDWARDS line came to Jefferson after the civil war in 1866, the only other county they lived while in TN that I know of was a short time in Union County. My Edwards line goes from William Riley Edwards to George W. Edwards to George Fleetus Edwards (married the Moree's) to Raymond Esthler Edwards to my father.
