    3. Hello Leta Jo and Humphreys County Researchers... I found some interesting information that might tie into your search...at the very least I hope this will inspire some help from you other Hooper researchers. Part two of the Cemetery books: pg 1 Buried in Averitt Cemetery -- sometimes called Petty Cemetery. O'Guin, Kisiah, wife of R. N. born 15 April 1852, died 2 June 1917(Family records: Kisiah Petty, married Robert N. O'Guin.) Note: From the Heritage Books, Vol. 1, page 324, I found that this Kisiah Petty was the daughter of Jim Redden Petty and Barbara Damesworth Petty. She married R. N. (Polk) O'Guinn and had 15 children. Page 208 Hooper, Harris W. 19 Sept 1853 - 12 April 1951, widower of Mattie Outlaw Hooper, son of Chancey Nimrod and Harriett White Hooper, Fowlkes Cemetery. Page 295 Hooper, S. K. killed 26 Dec 1861, Co. K. 50th Tenn Inf. CSA (L) , Katherine, those interested in this line refer to court minutes 1842-1850. , Absalom, died before Nov 1838 when his minor heirs were listed in the court minutes, these were John L. (Later John C.) Absalom A. and Eli L. Hooper (CM). , John L., died before Feb 1842 when letters of administration given to Ichabod Adams and Nimrod C. Hooper. Later his minor heirs were listed as Nimrod and Ichabod Hooper. (This last entry in question.) (CM) No Morrell listed. Book 1: Page 9, Fowlkes Cemetery Hooper, Harriett E. born 8 Oct 1819, died 14 Sept 1903. (She was the dau of Whidbea White, wife of Nimrod Chauncey Hooper.) >From the Humphreys County Heritage Books: Part Two, page 298 and 297 There are references to two Kiziah Petty's. 1. Kiziah, born 15 March 1828, married 16 June 1852, John Peavyhouse. This Kiziah Petty is said to be the 3rd born of George Valentine Petty and Mary (Polly) Redden Petty. George and Polly Petty moved to Navarro County TX in 1846 and only James Redden Petty remained in TN. Thomas and Jane Petty had 9 children, the 4th being George Valentine (Feb 14- 1803-Feb 15, 1886) married Mary Redden. The 9th was Kiziah A., born 1815 died 1879, Carroll Cty, TN married Feb 20, 1840 to Jacob H. Whitehorn. I could find no reference to Dr. Alcie Morrell in the books I have. Anyone else? I am not a Hooper researcher so I am not sure how this all ties in to Leta Jo's information....if you know something, please share! Thanks!
