Hello Friends, I would like to connect Wyly W. TURNER to his proper family. I am including his obituary here. I look forward to hearing from some of you Turner researchers: Wyly W. Turner was born December 16, 1859; departed this life April 19, 1894. He married Hattie Matheney, February 17, 1887. He joined the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the age of eighteen years and for several years has been ruling elder in said church. His funeral was preached in the presence of a large concourse of friends and relatives at Moriah Church http://www.cumberland.org/hfcpc/churches/MariahTN.htm on April 20, by Rev. Thomas Bowman. Brother Turner was a good neighbor, a good Christian and a good man whom everybody loved. He died in full triumph and has gone to reap a rich reward in heaven. May his exemplary Christian life live on and may his works follow him and may his many friends and relatives meet him in heaven. Waverly, Tenn.
