    3. If there is a book on Humphreys County cemetaries, I would be interested as well. I have been looking for info on my great great grandmother, Mary Hawkins Deaver, who died there during the Civil War in 1863. Thanks Joe D. I have finally come to the realization that if I am going to track down my Rook line I am going to have to look beyond Montgomery county. Most of my Rooks had left (or died) Montgomery Co. by 1840. However, between 1800 and 1840 they lived in and around there---which means that some of them had to have been buried around the area also. I just spent a few days recently in Montgomery Co. and drove around several adjacent counties but I did not have any idea about who might be buried where. If you are on more than one list concerning these counties you will probably see this same msg. so I apologize to you ahead of time. If I get an answer as to where to purchase these books, I will let the list know. Thank you for your help. Jean Hancock in TX ______________________________
