Can you all believe in less than 3 months we will be having our Danville Crossing Homecoming 2000 ! ? We need to be sure everyone who wants to stay at the Lodge at Paris Landing has booked a room before they are all gone. Call 1-800-250-8614. Be sure to tell them you are with the Danville Crossing group, as they are trying to put us all in a section, not all scattered throughout the lodge. If you are staying in that area at another motel, go one and make reservations asap, so none of you are left out!! WE have had to make a change in the catfish dinner, from Friday night to Saturday night. I think it will work out as well or better. It is still the same yummy menu'____ catfish, slaw, potato salad, hushpuppies, fried okra and lemon pie, with tea and coffee____ and is $13.50/each person age 4 and up. (Tax and tip are included.) We are working on games and maps and interesting programs for you and plan to have each Geealogical Society in the Danville Crossing area counties represented, for membership information and to share what they have for sale to help in your research. The $10 dues for the 3 day event needs to be mailed in, along with dinner money so we can reserve a room for it and know how many are coming.
