Long ago, there lived a sailor named Captain Bravo. He was a manly, man's man, who showed no fear when facing his enemies. One day, while sailing the Seven Seas, his lookout spotted a pirate ship, and the crew became frantic. Captain Bravo bellowed, "Bring me my red shirt!" The first mate quickly retrieved the captain's red shirt, and while wearing the brightly colored frock, the Captain led his crew into battle and defeated the pirates. That evening, all the men sat around on thedeck recounting the day's triumph. One of them asked the Captain, "Sir, why did you call for your red shirt before battle? The captain replied, "If I am wounded in the attack, the shirt will not show my blood. Thus, you men will continue to fight, unafraid." All of the men sat in awe, and marveled at the courage of such a manly man's man. As dawn came the next morning, the lookout spotted not one, not two, but TEN pirate ships approaching. The crew stared in worshipful silence at the captain and waited for his usual orders. Captain Bravo gazed with steely eyes upon the vast armada arrayed against his ship, turned and calmly shouted, "Get me my brown pants!" __________________________________ -------------------------------- End of TNHUMPHR-D Digest V00 Issue #87 ************************************** From root@lists6.rootsweb.com Tue Aug 1 18:59:57 2000 Return-Path: <root@lists6.rootsweb.com> Received: from lists6.rootsweb.com (lists6.rootsweb.com [63.92.80.125]) by listsearches.rootsweb.com (8.10.1/8.10.1) with ESMTP id e721xvw13991 for <indexer@listsearches.rootsweb.com>; Tue, 1 Aug 2000 18:59:57 -0700 Received: (from root@localhost) by lists6.rootsweb.com (8.10.1/8.10.1) id e721xwq19156 for indexer@listsearches.rootsweb.com; Tue, 1 Aug 2000 18:59:58 -0700 Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2000 18:59:58 -0700 Message-Id: <200008020159.e721xwq19156@lists6.rootsweb.com> From: TNHUMPHR-D-request@rootsweb.com Subject: TNHUMPHR-D Digest V00 #87 X-Loop: TNHUMPHR-D@rootsweb.com X-Mailing-List: <TNHUMPHR-D@rootsweb.com> archive/volume00/87 Precedence: list MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/digest; boundary="----------------------------" To: TNHUMPHR-D@rootsweb.com Reply-To: TNHUMPHR-L@rootsweb.com ------------------------------ Content-Type: text/plain TNHUMPHR-D Digest Volume 00 : Issue 87 Today's Topics: #1 good one lynda [Quoen@aol.com] Administrivia: To unsubscribe from TNHUMPHR-D, send a message to TNHUMPHR-D-request@rootsweb.com that contains in the body of the message the command unsubscribe and no other text.
