Hi folks: Another list had this index of TN confederate pension applications available from the TN State Archives. I found 3 GIBBONS and one SIMPSON of interest. George Yarbrough GIBBONS (widow Sarah Francis) N. H. GIBBONS R.R. GIBBONS N H and R R Gibbons both were listed as serving in the 42nd confederate Infantry. Does anyone have any information or a website that might have more about this military unit?
