Mrs. Frank W. Vinson has been dismissed from the Clarksville Hospital and is improving satisfactorily at the home of her mother. Cpl. Charles R. Hammond and Miss Beatrice Lee of Memphis spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Reeves of Detroit are visiting relatives here. Mrs. Susie McAuley has been undergoing treatment in Nashville for several weeks and is improving nicely. Mrs. Beverly Price and little sone have returned to Georgiana, Alabama after an extended visit with Mr. and Mrs. Will Price. Ray Cleghern and son, Billy Ray, were in Paris Tuesday. Miss Grace Tomlinson spent Monday in Clarksville. Billy Joe Browning, USN, of Miami, Florida is home for a short leave with his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Browning. Ensign George Powers, USN, has been visiting his mother Mrs. Clara Powers. Miss Jean McCarty spent the weekend here with her parents. Charles Dreaden Phm 1st class is spending a leave with his parents Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Dreaden and his wife and baby. Mrs. S. W. Johnston is improving nicely at her home in Hopkinsville after undergoing a major operation several weeks ago.
