T. Sgt. Lewis H. Weaks has been awarded the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters for meritorious acheivement in his line of duty. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alsobrooks of Detroit have received another telegram stating that their son, Staff Sgt. James Earl Alsobrooks, who is with an Infantry outfit somewhere in Germany, has been wounded for a second time. Cpl. Robert Shelton stationed at Tampa, Florida is furloughing here with his wife and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ophie Shelton. Ivy C. Haneline, 18, seaman second class, USNR, of Erin, is now stationed at the Atlantic Fleet's amphibious training base in Little Creek, Virginia where he is preparing for duty aboard an LSM (Landing Ship Medium).
