I have something special this morning. Kay French, the Houston County Librarian, just received 2 1945 issues of "The Houston County Times" newspaper. These two issues are nowhere to be found on the microfilmed rolls of newspapers, so this is a great thing. They were donated to the Houston County Library by a lady that passed away a couple of years ago and had it written into her will that some of her genealogy belongings be donated to the Houston County Library. I am going to post the obituaries and various other news articles to this board and mailing list. I hope that there is something in these issues that will help some of you out there. I was excited by this because of the fact that these two issues had never been microfilmed and was probably thought to be lost. I hope you enjoy.
