J. W. Burchester of Adams preached at the Arlington C. P. Church last Sunday morning. Mrs. Lois Allison, Nelda and Miss Dorothy Pulley spent last week with friends at Waverly and McEwen. Mrs. Guy Nichols has returned to her home in Memphis after a visit with her aunt, Mrs. Francis McMillan. Mrs. Robert Pulley was in Clarksville shopping Wednesday. Mrs. Raby Nance and Miss Gloria Dean Largent were in Clarksville Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar McMillan of Memphis announce the birth of a son, Carl Wayne on May 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis McAskill had as their guests for Sunday the Rev. J. W. Burchester, W. V. Pulley, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Barnes and children. Mrs. Garner Hamilton and son are visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wheatley in Erin this week. Pvt. James McMillan has returned to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma after a furlough with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul McMillan, his wife and children. He expects to be sent overseas soon.
