In the 1870 Stewart County census is Dollie Atkins, widowed, with daughter Rachel, age 8. In the 1880 Houston County census is Rachel Hankins, age 18, with mother Dollie A. Crowder. I believe these are the same folks, and that Dollie Atkins remarried to a Crowder between 1870 and 1880. Dollie Vickers had married James J. Atkins in Stewart County in 1841. He died sometime between 1864 and 1870, in Stewart County. If you think this is the same family, I can share lots about the Atkins family of Stewart County.
