Another of my Grandmother lines is Bates. Her grandmother was Narcissa Ann Bates (1840-1894). She was the daughter of Bazzel B. Bates (1812-1885) and Sarah Baird (1806-1881). Bazzel was the son of Robert Bates (1786-1834) and Elisabeth Perry. Robert and Elisabeth are buried on was was their farm near Shady Grove Cemetery. Bazzel had a large family. Sarah Baird (1806-1881) was the daughter of P. William Baird (1794-1837) and Nancy Pullum (1784-1859). William and Nancy had a large family. I try to take every line as far as I can.
