My Grandmother's mother was Virginia Belle Allen, born Pinewood (1867-1925). She was from the second family of Charles Moses Allen (1823-1884) and his second wife, Vivannah Anna Grimes (1842-aft 1900). Vivannah was the daughter of John W. Grimes (1801-1861) and Nancy C. -?- (1809-aft 1880). This line has been more difficult to work. Family died out early, but anxious to share what I know. Looking for other cousins.
