My Thomas family was from N.C. then, went to Hickman, Montgomery Tn. Brothers were Benjamin Thomas, jr b.1796; Tristram B. Thomas b.ca. 1795 ; Simeon B.Thomas b.1799; David B. Thomas b. 1804 Tristram B. Thomas signed as a witness on land that was given to Benjamin Thomas, Sr. Tristram B. and Benjamin,Jr. fought together in the Revolutionary war. Benjamin,Jr. went to file a widows pension for Land for Mary A.B. Thomas Tristram's B. Thomas' widow. He stated then that he was Tristram B. Brother, Simeon is mentioned in the probate of Tristram B. that he is a brother and in another document in probate David B. Is mentioned also, He was a tudor for my Great-grandfather Simeon Coates named fro his grandfather Simeon Thomas. I believe Benjamin Thomas ,sr is Stephen Thomas son Benjamin. This Benjamin had a brother Tristram B.Thomas . I have no proof. I you can help me I would be glad to share all the information I have on this family. Robbie
