I am seeking information on the marrige of James R. McMeans (179?-1841) of Vernon and later Centerville,TN to the widow of Captain '?' Porter of Vernon, who was a veteran of The War of 1812. Evidently, Mrs Porter was the sister of the wife of John G. Easley, who operated a hotel at Centerville. I'd truly appreciate anything that vaguely pertains to these folks! Thanks for your time.
