I am new to your list and would like to hear from anyone researching the families of Elias Dotson/Dodson who died in Council Bend, Hickman Co, 1847. I would like to have the death date of his first wife Maria Marshall. The Rowland/Roland/Rolin/Rolen family of Hickman Co. Elias Dotson's last wife was Frances Roland Lee who was born 1822 in TN. Frances mar Elias in 1846 and had one child by Elias, James E. Dodson in 1847. Frances then mar Luke Sellers Tatum in Perry Co. in 1849 by their good friend Pleasant Walker. Her first son by Luke was named William. On her tombstone is Frances R. Tatum which leads to believe she was a Roland/etc and not a Lee. Frances and Luke moved to TX in 1850. Any help in placing Frances would be appreciated. Mary
