Attention all existing subscribers to the Hickman County Mail List. This list's administration was adopted by myself, Gordon Harbison. If you have any questions, problems, concerns, suggestions, hints, advice, or special needs, please don't hesitate to contact me at gmharbison@mediaone.net. I do not live in Hickman County, just have a lot of kinfolk from there and the surrounding counties, Dickson, Maury, Williamson, Davidson, etc. I am a member of those mail lists as well and would like to see more activity on this list than I have seen lately. To start, I would like to do a modified type of roll call. I would like each of you to email me off-list at gmharbison@mediaone.net, the surnames you are researching and your email address in the following format: Surname; email address For example: Harbison; gmharbison@mediaone.net Baker; gmharbison@mediaone.net Bell; gmhabrison@mediaone.net etc, etc, etc, If you could also be so kind, please put TNHICKMA roll call in the subject line. I will compile this list and post it on a web page where all can view who is researching who, and make their connections easier. It also keeps the quantity of emails in your inbox down, snce we will not have to go thorugh a roll call on the list every time a new member subscribes. I have seen this done very successfully on the Dickson County list, so I am stealing Cher's wonderful idea. I hope to meet all of you and make your acquantance on this list.
