Hi, fellow diggers, I'm researching the Spicer name. My gggrandfather, Solomon Ellis Spicer, was born in Cannon County, Tn. He was born in 1820, married (1) Delitha Hatfield - 1840 (2) Josephine St. John Smith - 1865. After the Civil War, all the Spicers moved away from said county. I'm trying to ascertain their migration patterns. Solomon died in Weakley Co., Tn. in 1901. He had brothers named Burrell, Joseph, and Henry living in Cannon Co. at the same time he lived there, but I can't establish their whereabouts after the war.
