For those who would like a personal recommendation, I can not say enough good things about this book. It is beatifully done, the Historical Societ is to be complemented on an outstanding job. And while my family lines are sparsley mentioned, I learned so much about life in Hickman County, that I got a real sense of appreciation for how my family lived. Just a tremendous book.
