I am grasping at straws and hoping someone on the list had family that attended McFarland School during the 1930's. I just received 2 pictures and would like to identify everyone in the picture. I will gladly scan the pics and send to the list if anyone thinks that there might be a chance of someone in their family in the pictures. One pic is of a basketball team, 1 of the players is my Uncle Carl Overbey, not sure on the rest of the players. The other one is possibly a sports team, I have 3 members identified, Carl, Garland and Wilson Overbey, there are 2 others whom I don't know. If interested please email me. Terry Overbey McDaniel
Ron, Could the last name possible be spelled McClaren? I have found several McClaren's in my 1880 Census book. I have nothing on McClearn. Do you any other information on Laura, anything at all. Since I have 17 inches of snow and had freezing rain this morning (and not wanting to go out in all that stuff) I am keeping myself occupied with going through my books. ha So, if you have anything else let me know and I would be more than happy to check for you. She was born ca 1876 in Hickman Co and married Charles W. Kellems of Perry Co, IN. They may have returned to Hickman Co shortly before he died ca 1915/1925. He may have also been buried there. If land and vital records are available for this period could someone do a lookup or give me directions where I may find land records, birth, death etc for Laura, Charles and her family. --part1_cc.e2b80c1.276ae646_boundary Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Return-Path: <> Received: from rly-yh05.mx.aol.com (rly-yh05.mail.aol.com [172.18.147.37]) by air-yh05.mail.aol.com (v77.14) with ESMTP; Wed, 13 Dec 2000 02:07:38 -0500 Received: from imo-d03.mx.aol.com (imo-d03.mx.aol.com [205.188.157.35]) by rly-yh05.mx.aol.com (v77.27) with ESMTP; Wed, 13 Dec 2000 02:06:34 -0500 Received: from localhost (localhost) by imo-d03.mx.aol.com (8.8.8/8.8.8/AOL-5.0.0) with internal id CAA21062; Wed, 13 Dec 2000 02:06:34 -0500 (EST) Date: Wed, 13 Dec 2000 02:06:34 -0500 (EST) From: Mail Delivery Subsystem <MAILER-DAEMON@aol.com> Subject: Returned mail: User unknown Message-Id: <200012130706.CAA21062@imo-d03.mx.aol.com> To: RonsHoms@aol.com MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/report; report-type=delivery-status; boundary="CAA21062.976691194/imo-d03.mx.aol.com" Auto-Submitted: auto-generated (failure) X-Mailer: Unknown --CAA21062.976691194/imo-d03.mx.aol.com The original message was received at Wed, 13 Dec 2000 02:06:20 -0500 (EST) from root@localhost *** ATTENTION *** Your e-mail is being returned to you because there was a problem with its delivery. SACRED TO THE MEMORY HICKMAN COUNTY,TENNESSEE CEMETERY RECORDS PART I There is a listing for Lyles Cemetery, but there was no Poteet, listed there. Also I found in the same book, HICKMAN COUNTY OBITUARIES Poteet, Mrs. Martha, died 3 Mar 1882 of consumption. In book 2 there is not a listing for Lyles Cemetery. And there wasn't a Poteet in the listings.
