Let me throw mine in here, too. I am researching John Chapman Allen b 28 Feb 1836 in Henry Co., Tennessee. He moved to Texas in the mid 1850's and married Lucretia Ann Caton who was also from Tennessee. I have quite a bit of info on her family, but little to none on his. He went by the name of "Chap". It is rumored that his cousin married her sister. That cousin's name would be Dr. William Sutton Allen b. 9 Nov 1841 in Caledonia, Henry Co., Tenn. William Sutton Allen's parents would be Dr. Samuel Archer Allen and Elizbeth Jett Rodgers. Kristie Robinson
