I just returned from the Dallas Tx library where I found a book on the BILLIINGSLEY family. It lists my BINYON line that I have been researching in Henry Co. TN. When I first searched the LDS ancestry file, it listed William B. BINYON as being born in 1818 Henry Co. TN. Later it retracted the Henry Co. and listed 1818 TN. The Billingsley Book states that census records show him as being born in TN (as I have also found this to be true). It goes on to state that his son says that he was born in IL then moved to Henry Co. TN when he was 14 (1832) and resided there until 1856. He then moved to Anderson Co. TX. I found a Robert BINGHAM 37 b. NC, spouse Isabella 36 b. NC, children Elizabeth, Mary, Magdalen. The family next door: Ann Jane Bingham 80 b. NC, Mary 79, Ann Jan jr. 37, Sarah H 13, Matilda 30, Robert? 10, Anna 6, Thos. 5. I'm wondering if anyone is researching this family that may have a William B. in their line being b. 1818 TN. His name has been spelled Bingham on some Tx census.
