Hello, I have just joined this list in hopes of finding some information on my great-great-grandfather, Peter F. Gale, born in 1814, and my great-great-grandmother, Mary Jones, born in 1807. I know that they were married in Henry, I believe in the town, on September 15, 1838. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting their marriage certificate, if it exists? I obtained the date from the Latter-Day Saint genealogy site. Peter F. Gale was born in North Carolina, and Mary Jones was born in Kentucky, if that is any help.
