Hello, Still trying to get a leg up on "WADE" surname. First documentation for Absolom in Henry Co.TN is a state land grant in 1826 Near the Big Sandy area. (S.E.area of Henry Co.,TN) Aboslom married Malinda K. POTER ( the Porter line that spawned the future Gov. Porter) She had been widowed twice McLIN and McKEE In later documentation he is stated as being a doctor. Curious if anyone knows of doctors in the county from whom he may have received training. Also is there anyone on the list who is familiar with the other Wades of Henry Co. is there a "MARR" connection in the county as a daughter carries the middle name of Marr.
