I have a Rebecca Norrid married a Joseph Walker about 1820 in Tn. I have been told people think her father was a Jerry Norrid of Stewart CO Tn.SO I would like to collect all the information I can about Norrid. Jerry married, they say, Martha Priestly about 1800 I quess.(Or earlier) I did find a Larkin Priestly Norrid fought in War of 1812 from what looks like Stewart CO Tn. A Joseph Walker seems likely to have been in the same company. I think the Wm Norrid in Henry is supposed to be the brother of Jeryr Norrid. But maybe people just said that. SInce Norrid/Nored/Norward/Nard etc seems a rare name I thought it would be worth while to try and enqire about them all. SO if there are any others out there interested in Norrid I would be pleased to hear from you! JoyBenemann
