This was a different Williams line for which I don't have any information. If or when you get to Paris, lookup Ralph. He knows the sources detailing the individual Williams in the county. As to the Grays. Our line came out of NC with David Gray. No connection that I know of since then with MS or GA. BTW: Over in the 15th District in the 1850 Census (very near some of your Hicks) was a James H. Williams who was married to a Mary (unk). Mary was probably a Bradford / Gray. James and Mary's children where named Crawford & Rhoda Ann. These are Bradford / Gray names. James & Mary lived just down from ole Crawford hisself. I don't have any more info on this James Williams. Crawford Bradfords parents were David Bradford & Mary Kenny Gray. David & Mary had: Crawford who married Rhoda Gray, Anna who married James Gray, and David, whom I don't who he married. Anyway, sorry I couldn't be of more help. Dave
