Some of you have sent me some good information on James W. McCullough (b. 1839, d. 1865) son of Alexander McCullough (b. 1809, d. 1889). I have one more piece of information on the James I am looking for, which is that he married Samantha Christian in Itawamba County MS on August 29, 1861. I don't know if he died or they divorced, but by 1870 Samantha was remarried and in Illinois. Does anyone know if the James W. McCullough of Henry County TN ever married? Many thanks, Frank
