    2. Hi Sid, I will start with the pay dirt and follow up with other listings later. I think this is what you are most interested in anyway. Henry County Wills, Volume 2 Will Book D, Page 91 Will of George Moore, deceased I. George Moore, of Henry County, Tennessee, being afflicted in body, being in perfect mind and memory, and knowing the certainty of death, do make this my last will and testament, to viz, First, I submit my body to the earth and my soul to God who gave it, in full hope of eternal life through Christ Jesus, my Lord, and now my earthly property that my God hath given me, I wish to dispose of in the following manner. 1st, it is my desire that my Executors shall pay all my just debts. 2nd, I want my wife, Sarah, to have one hundred and fifty acres of land, including the improvements during her natural life or widowhood; also the black people Juniper, Stephen, Bob and Henry, provided that the said negroes shall be obedient. If not, it is my wish that my executors may sell them and be distributed amongst the heirs as I shall hereafter mention. Also, four cows and calves, three beds, bedstead and furniture, and two thousand pounds of pork, one hundred barrels of corn; also one black mare and one sorrel mare; also the kitchen furniture; one bureau; also one of the oxens and carts; also sixty bushels of wheat, two sows and pigs; twenty sheep and lambs. 3rd, it is my wish and desire that my two sons, George and Wesley Moore, shall have all of my land but not to interfere with my wife's part of one hundred and fifty acres until after her death. 4th, It is my will and desire that my two daughters Tabitha and D icy Moore, have fifty dollars each out of my property when collected. I also wish and desire that my daughter, Elizabeth, shall have one bed, bedstead and furniture, and one cow and calf. 5th, It is my wish and desire that the ballance of my property not divided as follows, viz, Rebecca Hill the heirs of my son James Moore, deceased, Caroline, Robert, Angeline and James; also Elizabeth Moore, the heirs of my daughter, Sarah Dunn, deceased, James, Louisa, Dicy and Mary E. Dunn and Nancy Renshaw, Deborah Davis, Tabitha Moore, Dicy Moore and Louvicy Hogan. 6th it is my will that after the death of my wife, that all of the property that I have left to my wife, be sold and equally divided between my eleven children, viz, Rebecca Hill the heirs of my son, James Moore, deceased, Caroline, Robert, Angeline and James Moore. Elizabeth Moore, the heirs of Sarah Dunn, deceased, James, Louisa and Dicy and Mary E. Dunn. Nancy Renshaw, Deborah Davis, Tabitha Moore, Dicy Moore, Louisy Hogan, John W. Moore and I do hereby appoint my son, George Moore and my son-in-law Hamblin Hogan, to execute this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 22nd day of August in the year of our Lord on thousand eight hundred and thirty-five.
