You're welcome, Joan. My books are from Simmons Publications and they are transcriptions of the original documents. In other words, they are the ones who went blind trying to read the original writing, but then you have the possibility for errors in interpretation. Unless the information is critical to proving a point, the books are a tremendous help. When you have a critical point, you should always try to get the original, just to be sure. I will leave it to you to decide what was meant by "James Broach widow." There was no punctuation, so I just copied what was written. It just seemed wrong in the context of the other entries and I wanted you to know that I had not made an error in reading what was written in the book.
